IMHO it is not the worst thing to separate /bin and /usr/bin ;-) https://github.com/MrMEEE/bumblebee-Old-and-abbandoned/commit/a047be85247755...
It is a little bit like keeping the tools for your car in the trailer. When the trailer comes off then there goes your tools. A symbolic link to your trailer is not quite as useful as the toolbox itself. Clive
