I am trying to edit the xinitrc file so that when I type startx, Gnome
will start. It seems that something has gone wrong with the drivers, because I get a result that I need to get information from a log file. Ok, so far so good. Startx is fairly simple, but can be confusing. I'm not that familiar with gnome, but which command starts it? Could you post the contents of $home/.xinitrc ? mvg, Guus
