Well, I have installed the package you suggested, but sadly I still don't control the volume with my multimedia keys. And I dunno what to do. I assume that I'll have to configure by my hand in /usr/include/X11, isn't it? For the record, I'm using an HP g4 1271-la notebook Oh, and anyway, thanks for the responses! 2012/10/21 Jonathan Dlouhy <dlouhy55@gmail.com>

Hi everyone!!
I'm trying to control my system with the multimedia keys. In this moment, I can control the brightness of the screen and wireless, but I can't control the volume applet, or the Web navigator, or anything else. I read the wiki, and I can configure in /usr/include/X11/keysymdef.h, but... Is that tne only solution?
Ah, I'm not running testing, I'm only in the [core] repo. And my version of GNOME is 3.4.1.3
Could it be https://bugs.archlinux.org/**task/32047<https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/32047>?

This patched gnome-settings-daemon fix my shortcuts. It's a pkgbuild.
