I thought it'd just be an outdated mirror or something, but a check on archlinux.org searching for xcb shows that the latter versions are current in the repos. Did something travel backward in time?
Outdated mirror. This was something that got solved in Saturday.
Why would the website show otherwise?
http://www.archlinux.org/packages/?q=libxcb
It shows 1.7-3 for lib32-libxcb and 1.7-2 for libxcb here for me. Doubt my browser checks for /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist (hopefully).
Because libxcb 1.8 was dropped. See [1] [1] http://mailman.archlinux.org/pipermail/arch-dev-public/2012-January/022433.h...
