thanks for the links i assume the thread from the pyqt mailing-list is this one: http://www.riverbankcomputing.com/pipermail/pyqt/2011-January/029094.html that mainly discusses various sip issues, but i cannot see any discussion about compatibility regarding pyuic, pyrcc, etc for clarity, i have now asked a more specific question here: http://www.riverbankcomputing.com/pipermail/pyqt/2011-May/029791.html
