so why you don't want to the what it suggesting and then reload the modules? also next time pay attention on pacman output. after upgrading the a new version of vbox is says: *** To compile the modules do /etc/rc.d/vboxdrv setup *** -- Ionut

I have compiled it thrice and reloaded it. Still no success. -- Nilesh Govindarajan Facebook: nilesh.gr Twitter: nileshgr Website: www.itech7.com
Damn, it worked when I did the same thing fourth time. Wierd !! -- Nilesh Govindarajan Facebook: nilesh.gr Twitter: nileshgr Website: www.itech7.com
compiling doesn't help that, it's when you install the application that it compiles and installs the modules. I always reinstall when a new kernel comes out. On Tue, Jun 1, 2010 at 6:22 AM, Nilesh Govindarajan <lists@itech7.com>wrote:

Afaik you only need to run /etc/rc.d/vboxdrv setup -- damjan
