Grammarians have come to the consensus that it is alright to end a sentence with a preposition, in cases such as "What did you step on?". From the looks of it, a preposition can end a sentence if it is preceded by a verb (at least from what I have observed).
Meh, that is just something up with which I will not put! (But yes, you're right. But it is fun.)
