What I meant was, we could do away with parsing db.tar.gz in AUR for linking dependencies if there was a way to directly go to the package page without needing the repository name.
Hmm, maybe post a feature request. Thinking about it, I don't really see too much of a reason to need to repo in the URL. Maybe things should even be reversed: packages/pacman/i686 * if in multiple repos, display a list of all packages, with links to: packages/pacman/i686/core packages/pacman/i686/testing ? Just an idea... but we're getting a tad offtopic now, I guess. Serves me right for being awake at 3am
