[aur-general] the future of empathy, libtelepathy..
now that empathy/telepathy and their deps are officially part of gnome, shouldn't they be removed from AUR (assuming they get added to extra soon)? Regards M. Rawash (gwash)

wouldn't it make more sense to leave them until they are actually added to extra?

i wasn't asking for any preemptive actions, it was more of an inquiry rather than a proposition, since i own most of these packages and was wondering whether i should keep maintaining them for the time being or just wait for them to be added to extra (they are currently in testing) regards

I'd say just leave them. That is what I am doing with vinagre which is also being moved to [extra] as part of gnome. Cheers, Allan

I would also wait, until [extra] offers a complete solution. AFAIK only empathy is in [extra], but not yet any connection manager. Regards
