I have edited the old PKGBUILD to work with the new release of numpy.

After some search, I found the best way to deal with it is, to mail it on this list. Doing the same.

Oh I used to maintain numpy when it was in [community] (dsa used to maintain it first, then me, then him) now, this is an important package, if some dev want to maintain it, I could help (or I must say we?) but definetively this package belongs to [extra])

The new version is compatible with the older version of numpy.

The Release Notes [1] says: This minor includes numerous bug fixes, as well as a few new features. It is backward compatible with 1.3.0 release.
