The latest uqm packages are out of date and lack a launcher[1][2], so I've updated the package to 0.7.0 and added a launcher, and uploaded it as uqm-new[3] to AUR.
Could somebody put this on the track to replace the mainline uqm package (after reviews, of course)?

I've been too busy to maintain this package, so I'll probably need to orphan it to another TU. Any takers?

Uhh, not to be a bother, but it seems by uqm-new package is gone, yet the uqm package is still old. Any explanation would be appreciated.

It was probably deleted as a duplicate, because you should update the original package rather then creating a new package.

You're right but Jookia did send a mail to AUR-general to inform of this and Daenyth said he had no time to maintain the package in [community] anymore.
Maybe this package should be dropped to AUR if no TU has interest in it.
If its dropped to AUR I will take it right now, (love that game).

I'll send you my uqm-new package if it gets dropped to AUR (and if you want it), it has the improvements I noted in the first post.
