Request #12577 has been rejected by Eschwartz [1]: No. Fix it instead. This should *not* pull from git master and should instead use the release tarball. While you're at it, fix it to use the install target properly. The package you want to prefer, is a hundred times worse. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/Eschwartz/
