The present repository is at https://github.com/fish-shell/fish-shell and could as well be at gitlab.org because they bought gitorious in a hands-on-key deal.

Make that "keys-on-hand deal". Already late for me here. :-) BTW, I can take over the package if you don't want to maintain it anymore. Add my user (vorbote) and delete yours from the access list; that will do it.

[1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/SanskritFritz/ [2] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/fish-git/ I just noticed that you created a new package. You should ask for a merge. This package has both votes and comments.

Wouldn't it make more sense to keep fish-git and merge figh-shell-git into the first one? The official fish package in the community repository is named 'fish', it sounds more appropriate to have a matching name for the VCS package.

Indeed, as long as the package in [community] is called fish, its git counterpart in AUR must be called fish-git. There is very little chance

Yes, that is why I requested a delete, so that we can rename fish-shell-git into fish-git. Should I request for a merge now?
Request #4023 has been rejected by anthraxx [1]: merging fish-shell-git into fish-git [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/anthraxx/ This was NOT what I wanted. Now fish-shell-git got deleted and fish-git, which was a legacy version lives on. Can you undo this please?

... or should I just upload the new package, sorry. This seems to be the way.
