[PRQ#48629] Orphan Request for sslyze
AkechiShiro [1] filed an orphan request for sslyze [2]: Package is out of date since 2 weeks : https://github.com/nabla-c0d3/sslyze/releases [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/AkechiShiro/ [2] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/sslyze/
Excuse me? You flag the package out-of-date and *at the same time* request orphanage?

Hi, Yeah because if the package didn't get any update for 2 weeks, I reckon, the maintained isn't using it because it just broke on me, I had to fix it manually. So either, I get put as comaintainer, but that's only possible if the maintainer isn't MIA either this package gets orphaned. I understand this is a bad practice and not recommended, but it is tiring to see abandoned packages/not used/broken on the AUR which are owned. Third option: You give the maintainers time to update the package after flagging it out-of-date. It was broken for a long time because of missing Python 3.11 support. Yes, there was an upstream update two weeks ago that we did not spot ourselves because we are not checking daily. That is what the "Flag package out-of-date" functionality in AUR is for.
