Am I the only one that is receiving ugly html tags in the newsletter?
Nope. I'm fairly certain I get them every time the newsletter comes out. Or wait - do you mean directly /in/ the newsletter (not this email)? If so, then it looks fine to me. On Thu, Mar 5, 2009 at 10:54 PM, BinkyTheClown <binky@archlinux.us> wrote:

I mean this e-mail. It is very annoying.

AFAIK email doesn't support HTML formatting, but correct me if I'm wrong. Could be that when the email is typed up (using mailman, I assume? I don't know a lot about mailing lists) it's done in some other environment. Anyway, probably not a good idea to be sending these to arch-announce, I'm sure that's annoying as well. :P On Thu, Mar 5, 2009 at 11:29 PM, BinkyTheClown <binky@archlinux.us> wrote:

Inappropriate. This is not a discussion list. Take your discussion elsewhere. http://www.archlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/arch-announce "This mailing list is for official announcements for the Arch Linux distribution. This is NOT a discussion list, so please do not abuse it."
