I think the name change gives it clear intent, and it's part of the
"cleaning" as well.

Well, we could do it really easily.  Rename the dir, symlink it, then
symlink core.db.tar.gz to current.db.tar.gz - quick and simple, and
the symlink will cover any older setups until we feel it's safe to
remove (note to self/cactus: perhaps track downloads of
current.db.tar.gz over ftp?)
