Why did you open a branch? That sounds to me, that it is decided that
we will include the patch to initscripts. There are several devs, who
are against this patch!! And you open just a branch to merge it later
with official initscripts. 

For me, that's like I and the other devs were just ignored with the 
concerns to this patch!!!
