Hey Alfredo,

thanks for sharing your thoughts. I think you are right with

and i think this language should be english (with some fancy influences 
from other languages), because the english language is quite simple and 
easy to learn. But this is a bit ignorant from me and from you. I could 
imagine that it is pretty hard for some people to learn this language 
and prefer another one.

Btw it is not reality at the moment. I often read things like 'sorry for 
my bad english' and stuff - in the forums, ml and irc. So i think it is 
nice to give those users a chance to use an app without a dictionary.

That arch users need to read|write|speak some english is true, because 
they will fail at the AIF and the config files if not. But behind that a 
big part of arch is localized, see core apps like pacman and makepkg.
And that makes things easier for people, having problems with english, i 
think they feel more welcome.

The additional workload for me is not that much. I figured out that 
transifex and the awesome translators (thx!) does the most stuff for me, 
i only have to push the new language files.

Another personal thing is, that this is a great experience for me - 
feeling the strength of the arch community. Some stranger from the web 
asks people for doin things for him and they reply with 'i did it'. That 
is great. But this has nothing to do with our  discussion...
