Hi, Dennis,

you didn't forget to replace 'sata pata scsi' etc. by 'block' ? That
was my fault a few months ago shortly before an update of the kernel.
In result, the bootimage couldn't find any harddisk installed.

Maybe your problem is not related to gummiboot ...
