[arch-general] Fwd: TB + FF not recognizing Terminus fonts?

I don't know if with the whole changes on gtk and/or the recent builds
of FF (firefox) and TB (thunderbird), but now I can't use the terminus
fonts as monospace fonts on FF neither TB.
It used to be I could select them. In the case of TB, it's even
worse, because when writing e-mail, on my display I prefer to see
Terminus fonts.
The weird thing is that I can see those fonts through fontconfig [1],
and of course through xlsfonts [2].
What's weird, is that TB on Arch is currently using (compiled against
gtk2), while FF is using gtk3, but none is recognizing the Terminus
fonts. Gvim, which uses gtk2 recognizes and uses OK the Terminus
fonts. Weird that TB which also uses gtk2 doesn't...
Any idea how to get Terminus getting recognized on TB and FF? Any new
configuration required?
Thanks,
