[arch-mirrors] Promoting to Tier 1?

Hello mirror admins,

Have a quick question. Been running a tier 2 mirror for a little while now (nearly a year). It's hosted on Linode, and based on what I have running up there, I currently have a 6TB monthly transfer pool, of which I use less than 15% most months. I'm wondering how much does the load and bandwidth required go up if I were to ask to get my server promoted to tier 1 status? Are there any other rules or expectations of being a tier 1 mirror that aren't there for tier 2 besides those listed in the mirror wiki article?

I love Arch, and want to help, and right now, this seems a reasonable option. Thanks for any insight.

Mike
