All three conflict with each other, as they provide jack.
When installing the group, usually you'll be asked which you want install (by pacman), if there are packages that provide the same.

Groups are achieved by defining them in an array in the package's PKGBUILD.
I'm sure there are more plausible/possible subgroups.
I don't know how much sense they would make, but packages can be in more than one group!
