[arch-projects] Opinion on a project of mine

Hey guys

Since this is a "projects" list, I decided to ask for eberybody's opinion
regarding a project I would like to start...

I have recently installed xmms2, and I am actually disappointed with the
existing GUI clients, so I have decided to make my own... I am just not
sure which language to use... I know python, a bit of C/C++, etc...

Which one would you use for a project like that? (I can already hear
someone screaming "JAVA!!!") :P
