I don't know of a use case for setting domainname without the need for
the other facilities yp-tools provides. If you need a DNS search domain,
you can set that in /etc/resolv.conf.
I've CC'd Allan (coreutils) and Gaetan (yp-tools) on this email. I've
linked in Patch 0/2 [1] in case they aren't subscribed to the list.
