yeah something like that. but more organized (better filenames, maybe a directory per language, plaintext format instead of html, etc)
and possibly including content from more then one website.

Yeah sure, this is not something that will be done in a few days.
I would keep translations unofficial though, for reasons previously mentioned (hard to verify the accuracy)
But i see no problem in having unofficial guides in a package such as arch-community-docs
