Hi, same here, but with the archlinux-2009.01-beta3-core-i686.iso this
is and x86_64.

Trying to boot (virtualbox) with 64 bits enabled, boots but appears this
error:

:: Passing control to Arch Linux Initscripts...Please Wait
/bin/run-init: opening console: No such file or directory
Kernel Panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!

And also this http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/13049

And there is and error in tryboot.lst, it have a three fallback commands
in menu entries, the fallback command is invalid at theses points, is
only for "general section"
