are you sure this is the way to go?
I just checked https://www.archlinux.de/?page=PackageStatistics, picked
out random packages with similar usages as joe and every single of them
is in AUR. (lash, gxine,grub-gfx, pure-ftpd, mongodb, moodbar)
So I would say it's not undeserved.

And either way, joe's usage on pkgstats is much smaller then nano and
vim, so I still think we better leave it off the archiso images.
