Hello,
I worked a little bit on that too, and what I could see in comparing
code from 2.6.29 kernel driver and the radiotap patch is that 1 chunk
out of two has been applied to the current driver. Probably the other
one was not needed, but not sure. I could not find any information on
git comments (I've not really searched the kernel's mailling lists,
thus).
But concerning the injection patch, it seems that nothing has been
committed to current driver, so I would tend to think that the package
is still not so obsolete, but need some work.
In last news, my ipw2200 card cannot inject since 2.6.27 (IIRC).
