[aur-general] Are AUR VCS packages that depend on AUR VCS packages from other projects a good idea and who should decide on that ?

No, it's not. You're WAY overcomplicating things. The llvm variants you mention
should all "provide" llvm, so you just depend on that and can use whatever you
want.
