It was mentioned on a-d-p recently[1] that the breakage seems to cover
not only uploading previously official packages to AUR, but also
adopting them even if a TU already put them in AUR.  So it seems that
packages that have been dropped to AUR cannot, in fact, be currently
picked up by AUR users.
