Speaking of which, you're using the ugly "public" links containing
hashes, instead of the distribution packaging-friendly redirector
described in
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Python_package_guidelines#PyPI_download_URLs

https://pypi.python.org/packages/source/${_name:0:1}/${_name}/${_name}-${pkgver}.tar.gz

is so much more friendly, isn't it?
