PS:
There is no need to use files.pythonhosted.org in order to be in sync
with pip and other package managers. If pip is not in sync with the
release tar of the github page that is a bug fuckup at upstream side.
most of the time its even advised to package from github instead as it
often contains files not in pypi (f.e. tests or certain sphinx docs
sources). On top we get gpg signature checking from the upstream
maintainer by using the git tag
