MarsSeed [1] filed an orphan request for xdg-desktop-portal-git [2]:

Maintainer didn't respond to my request submitted on
2022-01-25.

The package pulls in 158 MiB of unnecessary checkdepends
upon every install and then not uses any of it.

I'd like it to be rectified one way or another.
I'm willing to adopt this package if that's
what it takes.
