If the translations are still wrong in CVS, please submit a patch to
fix them.  My french is terrible.

pacman shouldn't write this file.  It's indicated as a backup=() file.
 It will never be overwritten, and  you will only get a 'pacnew' file
if the file in the new package and the original file have changed.  In
this case, the original file and the file in the package are
identical.
