hi,

i tried and give up learning git before 1.5 release. so i just learn efforts 
have been made to improve git and its documentation for 1.5 release.

i re-tried to learn it again and find it now easier, especially with the videos 
i have found:

the 2 hours videos "Git basics" is very good and show a complete overview and 
introduction to git.
the speaker says. "only 26 commands of git are needed. and for day to day work 
only 10 are used".
so Xavier, don't feel bad ;-)

on http://gitcasts.com, just a tutorial but in short videos.
