So I haven't heard what it is we're doing yet with the new "core" repo setup and such? Alex? Armin? Any thoughts or directives?

Hi, I installed gnasg-common but I have this error that I havent in previus gnash version Could not find any <gui>-gnash executable under directory /usr/bin, with <gui> in . thankyou sacarde(a)tiscali.it

To all developers with accounts on builderbob: I'm doing some network maintenance on Friday the 14th afternoon and possibly Saturday the 15th so builderbob will be inaccessible for at most 48 hours. hi, I download first official iso archlinuxppc I start it I select ftp installation (only first ftp mirror is working) I do: step 1 (praparehd step 2 (select packages step 3 (download and install (install is during little time) step 4 (configure... ... I edit rc.conf.... !!! file is empty... ... I view /mnt/etc is empty ... in /mnt there is only var help ! thankyou sacarde(a)tiscali.it

hi, in my archlinux-ppc I installed kde some time ago, after a reboot, KDE is blocked at second icon blinking, at service initalization...... if I create a new user from root and I login in new user, kde start linguage/country initialization, but when start kde-icons blinking, it stop at second icon may be the problem is in "service initializing" ? I chek: -/etc/hosts, /etc/resolv.conf.... all OK -network is active, if I use it in textmode -another lowlevel DE are working (blackbox, twm) thankyou sacarde(a)tiscali.it

Hi Everyone, I'm trying to get my creative webcam vista working in arch64. The gspca module loads ok and the device is detected, but "xawtv -c /dev/video0" just gives me a black window. [arch-ports] [ppc]no sound after kernel upgrade

Hi folks, About a couple of weeks ago, after a kernel upgrade (everything smooth as usual) the sound card of my 12" iBook stopped working. This sort of things happens sometimes, eheh everybody makes mistakes right? So I thought the issue would be resolved gracefully (i.e. with no complaints at all) within a few days with a new upgrade. But after two more upgrades, as of kernel 2.6.22 I can still hear no sound at all... I think the soundcard works, because I can hear the apple chord when I turn the machine on. alsaconf seems to recognize it properly but alsamixer tells me "No mixer elems found" and my /etc/asound.state reads like this: state.SoundByLayout { control { } } somewhat weird, isn't it? Furthermore lspci shows no trace of an audio card and dmesg informs me that module snd-powermac is no longer the right one, and that I should use snd-aoa, of which alsaconf seems to know nothing about... Nobody in the list has complained about this so far, either: (a) I do upgrade way too often, (b) something is wrong with my machine and I don't know what it is (c) both :( Any clues? Markus Wolf
