Hey All, I just reactivated my old beige g3 server which is still an Oldword machine. The question to me know is, is there any interest in a bin-image with installer & everything needed to class macos? And if, if anybody has any wishes about what should be included. Also, if ever you have any machine specific hints, guides or even howtos; it would be nice to hear them and put them up somewhere. Cheers, -G

hi, I follow this hint http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Alubook_(Powerbook_5,6) to manage cpufreq, power an other on my Apple G4 i have this error: modprobe i2c FATAL: Module i2c not found modprobe therm_adt746x FATAL: Error inserting therm_adt746x (/lib/modules/2.6.22-ARCH/kernel/drivers/macintosh/therm_adt746x.ko): No such device what do you suggest me ? thank you sacarde(a)tiscali.it

The [core] transition is finally done. A pacman update will add /etc/pacman.d/core, please change all references to "current" in /etc/pacman.conf to "core to receive future updates. You are not forced to upgrade immediately as the [current] repo will stay for some time to provide some backwards compatibility, but it will only contain pacman, libarchive and libdownload. There's a new ISO supporting the core repo available from ftp://ftp.archlinuxppc.org/iso/releases. A note to the devs: don't forget to rename your ~/staging/current dir to ~/staging/core -Armin

hi, I have installed acpid on archlinuxppc but when I start ./acpid restart :: Stopping acpid [FAIL] :: Starting acpid [BUSY] acpid: can't open /proc/acpi/event: No such file or directory I have apple-mini ppc thanks for help sacarde(a)tiscali.it

Hi, I installed gnasg-common but I have this error that I havent in previus gnash version Could not find any <gui>-gnash executable under directory /usr/bin, with <gui> in . thankyou sacarde(a)tiscali.it
