Correct. So far we established: Git package builds on people's PCs from the extension source. This pulls build dependencies, takes time, and is error prone. You seem to prefer it but some people may not like it. Let's respect that. This is faster to install and some people, myself included, prefer it. There is no EGO release yet but my motivation was to give this community a way of hassle-free installation before the extension developer releases it.
