So, looks like a bunch of Arch devs and users are coming to fosdem this year. [1] let's talk meetups! here are 3 ideas: * friday afternoon: some guys will do some sightseeing. Since even those who arrive around noon / early afternoon will arrive at different moments, maybe let's not try to hard to get everybody together yet at this point. Tom and Pierre, I'll let you decide on this one. You'll be earliest, maybe you don't want to waste your time at this point meeting up with various folks as they arrive at different times. although, since the warandepark is near our hotel, maybe you could meet up with interested people there (if any?), just a thought * friday evening: meetup downtown @ 7PM in front of TBD (looking for a place near "grand place" where one can shelter should it start to rain). We'll go out for dinner and afterwards drinks. Hi, I've added myself on [0]. I'm still looking for an acoomodation. I've got a low budget so maybe I'll be couchsurfing to reduce the costs. Are some of you interested in car sharing or to meet in the same train? I'll be kind of flexible, maybe I'll meet Jan & friends (travelling by train) or maybe I'll come by car with a friend or maybe I'll meet _you_ ? I could meet you in Frankfurt, Mainz, Ludwigshaven, Mannheim, Trier, Saarbruecken or in Luxembourg. Please let me know if you offer/need a car seat and what your schedule exactly is so that I can adapt mine. How will the arch beer evenings look like? Will it just be a "have a drink get-together"? Or more kinda hack center where people are working on linux and/or soldering and/or arduino stuff, maybe playing with some ARM-based devices like dockstar, sheevaplug, ... running Arch Linux of course (except the arduino). Hello guys, FOSDEM is the biggest free and non-commercial event organized by and for the community. Its goal is to provide Free and Open Source developers a place to meet. No registration necessary. => as usual, the programme is awesome, and it's your chance to meet lots of interesting folks. => free entrance. => sat/sun 4/5 february => friday 3rd, evening: fosdem beer event. although that is always insanely overcrowded, so if there's enough interest, we could do our own arch-users drink on friday (or on saturday) => free guided tour through brussels for partners/spouses http://fosdem.org/2012/ if you're coming to fosdem 2012, please add yourself to the list below, and also mention which days you can come. if there's enough attendance/interest on friday evening, we could organise our own meet up. also, we could do something on saturday evening. I know some people already mentioned they would come, but didn't say which days.
