We are writing to formally apply for our mirror site (mirrors.qlu.edu.cn) to be added as a Tier 1 mirror node in the Arch Linux official mirror network, with permission to sync directly from rsync://rsync.archlinux.org/ftp_tier1/. Our mirror has recently been upgraded with dedicated access to the China Education and Research Network (CERNET) as a backbone node in Shandong Province, providing: High-speed IPv6 connectivity with a 20 Gbps dedicated bandwidth, ensuring excellent network performance for both domestic and international users. Changes in pacman-mirrorlist package regarding HTTP mirrors

Hi all, A week ago or so [1] a change in the pacman-mirrorlist package was merged, where we removed listings of HTTP based mirror URLs so only HTTPS based mirrors remain in the newly released pacman-mirrorlist package. To further clarify, this does not translate to making HTTP based mirrors unsupported, they are still available on the mirrorlist[2] endpoint that is used by other mirrorlist fetching tools like reflector.
