Hey everyone, It was suggested as part of this year's spring cleanup of [community] that we should be have a cleanup in [core]/[extra] and move packages downwards into [community]. This round only concerns [extra] packages. A big shout out to the Arch Conf Team! This weekend's conference was nothing short of awesome. It pulled together very well, particularly given the short organisation period and it being the first one run online. The recorded talks followed by live Q&A worked very well, and I enjoyed the live commentary by the community either on IRC or twitch. Looking forward to next year! :) Allan

The ghostpcl and ghostxps packages prior to version 9.53.2-2 were missing a soname link each. This has been fixed in 9.53.2-2, so the upgrade will need to overwrite the untracked files created by ldconfig. If you get any of these errors ghostpcl: /usr/lib/libgpcl6.so.9 exists in filesystem ghostxps: /usr/lib/libgxps.so.9 exists in filesystem when updating, use pacman -Syu --overwrite /usr/lib/libgpcl6.so.9,/usr/lib/libgxps.so.9 to perform the upgrade.

Additionally I have many packages that I'd be happy to find co-maintainers for. Hello everyone! We are super excited to announce that the Arch Linux Conference 2020 is going to be held online on the 10th and 11th of October. The CFP has been published and everyone is free to submit talks and lightning talks from today until the 18th of September. Hi people, as part of our ongoing unification of Arch services in order to ease operational overhead, DevOps would like to move the kanboard service to the GitLab instance [0]. GitLab has a comparable feature in the form of issue boards [1]. The current kanboard isn't getting used much and we'd like to focus our efforts. Please have a look at the boards and check if there's anything you know needs to be migrated. At a quick glance, many issues are simply out of date and superseded or already done. If necessary, please migrate the board to GitLab or feel free to create a DevOps ticket [2] so that we can handle the migration. We seek to finish the migration by October 31st. [arch-dev-public] Away on vacation until 25th September

Hi, just wanted to give a quick notification that I will be mostly away from the digital world until 2020-09-25. I might sporadically check my mails or pop briefly into IRC, but not engage actively in other duties like packaging. Feel free to bump any of my packages in the mean time, just be advised that both the consul and the ceph package do need some work again and might not even rebuild in their current version against our current repo.
