New filesystem package: * Bumped the month number * Updated services/protocols files. These were updated in CVS 3 months ago but had still not gotten a rebuild, and were lost in the transition to SVN. This will close FS#9941. I couldn't build for x86_64, so if someone could do that it would be great. -Dan

Hi all, finally I got a response from the FrosCon-team. If we could get our own room doesn't seem to be sure but chances are high that we will. I need some final decisions to get those things organised. At first I need a list of those who want to help us and attend to this event. (you do not have to be a dev ;-)) In addition to this we have to talk about wether we want to have our own booth/table or not. (The froscon team seems to prefer a "yes" here and I think it could be fun.) Of course we need to be enough people. To spped things up, I'll set a deadline: So please answer till Friday. [arch-dev-public] testing2x(64) or cleanup script buggy?

I moved several packages with the new testing2x(64) script. To be sure I use /home/thomas/cleanup.sh for cleaning. Now I found all packages I moved with the testing2x (toolchain, openoffice, coreutils, wget) script not to be deleted from the ftp/testing directory. And also the cleanup.sh doesn't detect them to be obsolete. Though the testing/packages.txt doesn't include them anymore. Thomas and Aaron, can you please have a look? -Andy

in testing for both arches. patches have been updated to the recent Fedora versions. * Noteworthy changes in release 6.12 (2008-05-31) [stable] ** Bug fixes chcon, runcon: --help output now includes the bug-reporting address cp -p copies permissions more portably. For example, on MacOS X 10.5, "cp -p some-fifo some-file" no longer fails while trying to copy the permissions from the some-fifo argument. id with no options now prints the SELinux context only when invoked with no USERNAME argument. id and groups once again print the AFS-specific nameless group-ID (PAG). Printing of such large-numbered, kernel-only (not in /etc/group) group-IDs was suppressed in 6.11 due to ignorance that they are useful. uniq: avoid subtle field-skipping malfunction due to isblank misuse. In some locales on some systems, isblank(240) (aka &nbsp) is nonzero. On such systems, uniq --skip-fields=N would fail to skip the proper number of fields for some inputs. tac: avoid segfault with --regex (-r) and multiple files, e.g., "echo > x; tac -r x x". [bug present at least in textutils-1.8b, from 1992] ** Changes in behavior install once again sets SELinux context, when possible [it was deliberately disabled in 6.9.90] please signoff. -Andy

[arch-dev-public] Adding keytouch and keytouch-editor in [extra]

Hi, I would like to add both keytouch and keytouch-editor to [extra]. I currently maintain them in community. I am currently cleaning up my packages in AUR/community and considering moving most (perhaps all) of the remaining to extra to centralize my packaging to the official repos. I'll let you know at the time, for now it's just keytouch and keytouch-editor that I plan to move. At last, keytouch and keytouch-editor have 48 and 44 votes, respectively. Any objections?
