[arch-dev-public] Packages with Arch artwork/branding

I'm trying to track down all packages that contain Arch Linux artwork and branding. I'm particularly interested in anything that features the old logo, but I'd also like to know of any packages that contain images of the old name (even if they're missing the "arch" symbol.) If you maintain packages that meet this criteria, please contact me with the package name or simply respond to this thread. Thanks! Thayer

Hi, In testing for both arches. Please signoff. Regular update. Upstream changelog: The main reason for having this release so soon after 7.5 is because it fixes a potential buffer overflow problem in pcre_compile() when run in UTF-8 mode. In addition, the CMake configuration files have been brought up to date. -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.

I've commented on most of the bugs with the actions I took with regards to the pacman mirrorlist, but there are others that may need to take action as well. 9439 sticks out as rather big as it is two of our mirrors in the Netherlands, so I'd appreciate any feedback on that one. Thanks a lot to Gerhard Brauer for looking into all our mirrors and finding those that are out of date or unreachable. -Dan

[arch-dev-public] [signoff] Xorg updates in testing

Last week I've updated mesa to 7.0.3-rc1 (actually git snapshot dated 20080125), including a rebuild of xorg-server and all xf86-video-* drivers that included Mesa 7.0.1. There's still a few packages with included DRI drivers coming from Mesa 7.0.0, does this have a reason? I left them at 7.0.0. I've been running this new xorg-server on x86_64 with updated intel driver for a week now without noticable problems. Please test other configurations (unichrome/via/openchome and ati mainly and also the non-free fglrx driver if you can).

[arch-dev-public] Lots of packages in [testing]

I know most of them are perl packages, and we're waiting on that sort of thing, but could you guys take a peek at the packages in testing? Some of them have been there over a month, and some of them are older than versions in core and extra (i.e. sudo). I just found some of mine that should have been moved, so I'm guilty of this too. The reason I bring this up: when we get the new kernel issues all resolved and fleshed out, we should be releasing a new ISO. It'd be nice to have the latest-and-greatest core packages at that point. These two come as one nice little change, as they both need to go to core at the same time. * man 1.6f-2 Build with FHS compliance. These two have been bumped because apparently some people still had problems due to an edge case with the generation of pacnew files I bumped both the package and the md5sum on profile in order to get around edge cases with no pacnew files bash was a version bump too mainly to move the man pages filesystem changes: Setup for FHS compliant man pages - FS#8839 Claim ownership of /etc/profile from bash - FS#4766 Remove LESSCHARSET env var from /etc/profile - FS#8877 bash changes: Update patch level to 033 Remove /etc/profile from package. Move bashisms to /etc/profile.bash - FS#4766 /etc/profile was also largely revamped. Please comment on the changes there if you'd like. I'd like to get these into core as soon as possible
