[aur-general] TU Removal - Bob Finch

Hi TUs, Bob deleted all his packages from the AUR using his Trusted User powers. This is in complete violation of the principle behind the restriction that only Trusted Users can delete packages from the AUR and I believe is enough to warrant the removal of Bob as a TU. As you would have seen in previous threads, Bob has removed all his packages from [community] and apparently intends to resign anyway. Given the absence of official resignation, I am starting the discussion period now. It appears his CVS access has already been removed by someone else and I have drop his privileges on the AUR for the period of this discussion/vote. Allan

Could someone remove these packages: libnetworkmanager-svn networkmanager-svn gnome-network-manager-svn Recently NetworkManager switched to git on freedesktop.org and gnome-network-manager was renamed (in testing) in network-manager-applet let me know if I have to orphan them. Thanks, -- kasa

Hi fellow TUs. I'm happy to inform you that the new VirtualBox 2.1.0 finally added support for 64bit guests on 32bit hosts. So if you always sticked to arch32 because of lack of proprietary apps/lack fo time/fear of "those new things"/whatever... now you have no more excuses =) You can start contributing to arch64 today, just install a virtual machine! I'm doing it myself now ;-) Cheers, bardo
