Greetings fellow Archers, GNOME 3.6 finally hits [testing]. As many packages as possible have been moved from GStreamer 0.10 to GStreamer 1.0. Remember to install the plugins if you have trouble playing media. They are: gst-plugins-base gst-plugins-good gst-plugins-bad gst-plugins-ugly gst-libav libpangox has been split from pango and now resides in pangox-compat. This will require rebuilds to update dependencies. This release, as mentioned in the past, replaces ConsoleKit with logind. As such, you need to boot your system with systemd in order for GNOME to work properly. This extends to polkit and NetworkManager in general, which are also used outside of GNOME. [arch-dev-public] "No mail" popup since last kdebase-workspace

I have a "No mail" popup box each time I log into kde since the last kdebase-workspace update. This is not a big problem as kde load correctly after hitting the "Ok" button. It looks like this is related to the line session optional pam_mail.so dir=/var/spool/mail standard in /etc/pam.d/system-login. Any solution ? Stéphane

Just letting you know that I moved the python rebuild to [testing]/[community-testing]. Hopefully I caught all the packages. If people actually used the commit message to say what the rebuild was for... The only package not rebuilt is clinica. It does not build with the current vala and I am not backporting this patch... http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~phcteam/clinica-project/master/revision/416 It will be removed when this moves out of the testing repos if no-one does anything to fix that...
