Hi everyone, there's two package that provides amule-adunanza: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/amule-adnza/ https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/amule-adunanza/ The first one is the correct one, is updated and maintained, the second one is orphaned and old. The right name of the package is amule-adunanza (like the second one) so after removing "amule-adunanza" the fist package must be renamed into amule-adunanza. Have a nice day, Edoardo

Hi everyone, there's two packages that provides the same software. https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gtk-theme-preferences-git/ https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gtk-theme-config-git/ The first one has more votes (11 vs 3), but the second one has the right name (gtk-theme-preferences is wrong) and I know that the maintainer is in constant contact with the developer on Google+. 1. 4dtris-git has been renamed by the developer to ntris 2 months ago (see comment in https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/4dtris-git/ ). https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/4dtris-git/ returns 404 for the source while https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ntris/ looks maintained. Please remove 4dtris-git https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/4dtris-git/ (no votes, single comment) 2. acpi-handle-hack-lenovo-git and hack-lenovo have become obsolete as the fix has been included upstream - see comments on https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/hack-lenovo/ Does it mean both these packages should be removed from the AUR? They need to be updated to work with the current kernel but there seems to be no need for them. https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/acpi-handle-hack-lenovo-git/ https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/hack-lenovo/

hello, I have made a PKGBUILD which enable Python debug symbols - http://sprunge.us/gDLL - to enable python debuging with gdb I have two question: - as I only add !strip and debug options in the original PKGBUILD, is it realy relevant to push it on AUR? -I know some python dev who's thinking it could be useful to have python packaged like this, but I want your opinion- - I have named it python2-gdb, is it a good choice ? or maybe you prefer something like: python2-symbols, python2-debug, python2-debug-symbols or python2-debug-gdb? Thanks Mo0O PS: I could make one for Python3 too, if you fell the first one necessary

Dear TU(s), the recent move of these packages' VCS from svn to git means that - as the maintainer - I had to create two new packages for them (as per https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VCS_PKGBUILD_Guidelines) I would like to request for the new two packages (*-git) to be merged with their old packages (*-svn), respectively.
