[arch-dev-public] building in (clean) chroots

I still see packages appearing that haven't been built in (clean) chroots. One example is mplayer on x86_64, which has VDPAU support. For this, nvidia drivers are needed, which doesn't belong in a chroot where packages for the repositories are built. Please build in chroots, and if it's not clean, please namcap your packages before uploading. I see too many differences in packages for i686 and x86_64 because of this.

minor upstream fix. also removes RPATH, fixes #14368. please signoff. -Andy Version 3.6.14.1 is a branch of version 3.6.14 with patches applied to fix three bugs. See http://www.sqlite.org/releaselog/3_6_14_1.html fpr details. The changes are minimal and users who are not bothered by any of the three bugs do not need not upgrade. Under normal circumstances, we would have let these three fixes accumulate in the SQLite source tree until the next regular release in June. But an SQLite Consortium member requested expedited resolution of the bugs and so we are making these fixes available in this unscheduled version 3.6.14.1 release. Changes associated with this release include the following: * Fix a bug in group_concat(), ticket #3841 * Fix a performance bug in the pager cache, ticket #3844 * Fix a bug in the sqlite3_backup implementation that can lead to a corrupt backup database. Ticket #3858.

Hi all, as discussed here http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=557394 some spam bots seem to like our wiki. I have developed a very simple but effective way to stop such bots. Of course they could easily bypass it but as it is not used by anybody else the bot programmers just don't know about it. The idea is to set a cookie on each form which existence will be checked before each form action. The cookie is set by an "image" which is included by CSS. Until now there seems to be no bot which reads CSS definitions. Those which use text browsers will see a text form in which they need to enter a short hex code in order to submit anything. Anyone else wont even notice that there is a captcha. So, what do you think? Should I activate this plugin? The only thing I need to do is translating some error mesages from German into English.
