[arch-dev-public] "No mail" popup since last kdebase-workspace

I have a "No mail" popup box each time I log into kde since the last kdebase-workspace update. This is not a big problem as kde load correctly after hitting the "Ok" button. It looks like this is related to the line session optional pam_mail.so dir=/var/spool/mail standard in /etc/pam.d/system-login. Any solution ? Stéphane

Just letting you know that I moved the python rebuild to [testing]/[community-testing]. Hopefully I caught all the packages. If people actually used the commit message to say what the rebuild was for... The only package not rebuilt is clinica. It does not build with the current vala and I am not backporting this patch... http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~phcteam/clinica-project/master/revision/416 It will be removed when this moves out of the testing repos if no-one does anything to fix that... Is there any reason that iproute2 should not be added to base? It is no longer pulled in since initscripts was removed and moved to extra. I recently rebuilt nfs-utils with some changes to its units to fix some failures when mounting NFS shares on boot. In particular, I added 'Before=remote-fs-pre.target' to rpc-statd.service, rpc-idmapd.service and rpc-gssd.service. However, you can use nfs4 without running rpc-idmapd (if you don't need ID mapping). This means rpcbind is not ordered on the nfs mounts and may be started too late. I have the following questions: 1) Is using nfs4 without idmapd even a viable scenario? 1a) Should we add Before=remote-fs-pre.target to rpcbind? 2) What's the status of socket activated rpcbind? (Tom?)

[arch-dev-public] About to drop bacula

I'm going to be dropping bacula to AUR soon as I don't use it and I keep bug reports on it. I don't currently have a working bacula set up so it might be better off in someone else's hands. I'll give it a few days before dropping it in case another TU wants to take over.
