While creating systemd units for my packages, I found two problems: 1) I cannot force pppd fork to the background. While it is the default behaviour, the user can override that with the 'nodetach' and 'updetach' configuration options. Should I use Type=simple and force the 'nodetach' option on pppd? 2) systemd has built-in watchdog functionality. Should I omit systemd units for watchdog? With systemd, I don't need it anymore.

Can we drop xulrunner to the AUR? Or does a TU want to maintain it in [community]? freewrl has multiple options on which spidermonkey implementation to use, so it probably should depend the "js" package instead. I believe the packages building browser plugins can use the Firefox development files instead, which we're currently removing from the package. So I'm pretty sure the only real user we have left is chmsee in [community]. If xulrunner goes to the AUR, this would need to follow as well.

There are several orphan packages I'd like to maintain, currently in [extra]. python-imaging gqview htop multitail catdoc fortune-mod Of these python-imaging is probably the most serious. Lots of packages depend on it, but these all are in community. Two packages in extra optdep it: hplip and asymtote. You can see the list of required-by and opt-required-by with expac -S '%n %E %o ' | egrep ' (pil|python-imaging) ' | \ cut -d ' ' -f 1 | xargs expac -S '%n %r' Htop might also be a little presumptuous to ask for, but no harm trying.
