Using 8-col tab widths in HTML can get ridiculous due to the nesting involved. Also, do you guys setup autocmds in vim for handling all non-code files, or do you set up autocmds explicitly for source code files and leave the default tabwidth to something more conservative? I work with such a mix of file types so frequently that I'm not sure which practise to apply by default.

Hi TUs and DEVs, I just packaged a new set of devtools today. I'll put it into testing first; so please give it a try and let me know if there are any problems. And of course I'd appreciate if you could also drop a line if everything works as expected. A warning for those who use makechrootpkg: the rw and union subdirs are no longer used and cannot be used with the new tools. Aufs is no longer needed. Hi, First the current implementation doesn't work since CONSOLEFONT is always zero. Second i don't know anything about fonts and why does the first commiter only enabled pfsu.gz fonts but i tested with a psf.gz font and is working fine and i decided to add any *.gz font. Comments? -- Ionut

new upstream release. please signoff. -Andy 2010.02.11 - GNU nano 2.2.3 "fumbling toward stability" is released. This release contains a fix for only one bug, but a rather irritating one: when paging up/down with smooth scrolling, the cursor position was not being preserved due to a bug in 2.2.2. With such a targeted fix like this what could POSSIBLY go WRONG? Hahaha. Hi DEVs, I'd like to add these plugins into [testing] (then [extra]) repository and introduce a kdevelop-plugins group. These plugins are needed by PHP developers, and they are: kdevelop-php kdevelop-php-docs kdevelop-xdebug (this needs also kdevelop-executebrowser, kdevelop- executescript) All them are beta release, but I am using kdevelop-php from a month and it is stable. Kdevelop itself is also a stable beta. They are working on a Java plugins too, but they released no one beta yet. Any opinions? -- Andrea `bash` Scarpino Arch Linux Developer

Hi, this is a small fix for the bug reported here: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=699763 Now, you have to set explicit the plugin path to the kernel mode plugin if you want to use it. So, it's up to you if you need it or not and it won't be set anymore as default, because it generated too much errors for some users. Please test it and signoff. -Daniel
